What areas are covered?

    At ADM Discos we primarily cover the West Midlands area, We are prepared to travel nationwide should our services be required. A small additional charge may be applied to areas that travelling/accessibility may be an issue, please contact us with your exact requirements.

What will my DJ be wearing?

    For all functions your DJ will be dressed 'smart casual' unless otherwise stated. This will usually be black trousers, shoes, shirt and cufflinks. Should other dress requirements be necessary such as a suit etc.. this can often be arranged, just mention your requirements when booking and we can tailor the night to suit you.

What will I need to supply?

    We supply almost everything with regards to entertainment at your function, all we ask is:

•     2x Separate 13amp Sockets, Preferably without the need for trailing long extensions.

•     A decent sized table is always appreciated

•     An area roughly the size of 4m x 2m for the set up.

•     If outside, suitable shelter to accommodate DJ equipment

How am I assured that you will turn up and for the price arranged?

    All of our bookings are contracted both for your assurance and our assurance. The contract is compiled before the function and is signed by both parties. The contract acts as written verification of your entertainment requirements along with any special requests and costs. An example of our contract can be found on our resources section of this website.

What about play lists and requests?

    Feel free to supply us with a Play list prior to your function so that we can ensure we have any special songs you might want and so we can get a feel for the type of music that you like and favourite artists. Please try to keep the list down to a maximum of 25 tracks. We will endeavour to play all reasonable and appropriate tracks that are requested on the evening, But please don't forget that you are paying for our expertise and we will incorporate track when we think that they will work best.

Do you supply background music?

    We are able to supply background music for whatever reason, meals, corporate functions etc.. Just get in touch and let us know your exact requirements and we will be more than happy to help.

I want to book a band along with a Disco, is this an issue?

    This should be no problem however a slightly longer set-up time may be required if space is an issue. We have performed various times with live acts and often end up sharing equipment, just get in touch with your requirements.

My venue requires certificates for Public Liability and PAT testing, do you have these?

    Yes, upon request we can provide copies of both our current PAT testing and PLI certificates. We are hoping to have these displayed and printable via this website very soon to make it easier for clients requesting such details, in the mean time, should you need one of these please contact us and this will be arranged.

My venue doesn't allow smoke, is this a problem?

    The use of smoke effects greatly increases the appearance of our (or any) road show.  At ADM Discos we don't use smoke machines, we prefer to use Haze machines. Principally they are the same sort of thing but there are several key differences, that in most cases, venues that do not allow smoke can often be convinced to allow the use of haze. Unlike a smoke machine, haze machines are designed to subtly fill the room with an unnoticeable haze if used correctly. Haze machines are used by broadcasting companies such as the BBC as it enables you to see the beams of light without having a visibly cloudy venue. Because the Haze is less dense it does not trigger fire alarms, does not cause the psychological effects of coughing that some patrons have and creates much less residue around the venue unlike the use of smoke machines. Haze machines constantly output 'haze' but at a very low level creating an unnoticeable even blanket atmospheric effect. Smoke machines output thick dark smoke in localised heavy bursts, this is what creates uncomfort and fire alarm activations.

If atmospheric Haze effects still can't be used by request of the venue owner we will often make the decision not to use our lasers as they are designed to be used with atmospheric effects to make the beams visible and sharp.
